Members are at the heart of our Community—individuals who strive to make a meaningful impact in someone else's life by supporting our programs. By embracing the idea that anyone can be a philanthropist, we invite every member to be an active investor in our collective future. With opportunities like membership rebates and the option to convert their annual rebates into share purchases, their generosity transforms traditional charity into a dynamic "purchasing power cycle" of shared prosperity and lasting impact.
This approach only works if all the properties in LYNAY's portfolio are completely debt-free, meaning that LYNAY Group and its Community Members own the properties outright.
Becoming a member of LYNAY Community Collective Group is a powerful act of kindness - that's what we call "Radical Generosity".

Support Our Initiatives
Rent-Reduction
Program
Monthly Memberships fund the LYNAY Community Collective to purchase multi-unit apartment buildings outright. We aim to reduce rents to below market, no more than 30% of an occupant's monthly income, for both existing and potential new tenants.
Existing building tenants will be required to sign a new lease with LYNAY, to be eligible to enter the Rent-Reduction Program and benefit from below-market rent, along with a rent rebate program.
Both existing tenants and approved incoming applicants, will be required to subscribe to a Monthly Membership ensuring they contribute to the cycle of support and sustainability of the LYNAY Collective. This allows us to grow and empower more communities.

Rent-to-Own
Program
Monthly Memberships fund the LYNAY Community Collective to purchase freehold properties outright, to offer a
Rent-to-Own Program opportunity.
Rent-to-Own Program participants will complete a simple, 2-step application process:

Submit required application form and documentation to officially qualify.
Approved applicants will be required to subscribe to a Monthly Membership ensuring they contribute to the cycle of support and sustainability of the LYNAY Collective. This allows us to grow and empower more communities.

*5 year Rent-to-Own term - with an option to extend
*Option to purchase property, at current provincial assessed value, upon completion of the Program or completion of the Term, whatever comes first
